Helping Tree

This is a tool that allows the individual to identify the category that best fits is needs and then, to explore resources that provide help and support at school or in the community.

Link companion

The Link companion isnot a therapist but someone who will provide assistance by listening and, if needed, helping you to identify resources and help in the community using the Helping tree. They are identified by “Link companion stickers” that they place in visible places such as their office or class door.

Link card

The Link card is a yellow business-sized card and has a space where you can write your name. It can be used as a communication tool between you and a Link companion. It means “I need help.” The card also contains local emergency telephone numbers.

Posters and banners

The implementation of the LINK program in a school is confirmed by Link posters and banners displayed throughout the school.
